According to CCM’s investigation, there are only 20 major producers in the world at present. China’s diuron industry started late, compared with its foreign counterparts. Its first registration was in 1997, and the growth of its capacity mainly happened in the past five years. In 2010, overseas sales achieved breakthrough progress. Domestic producers have expanded their capacities in the past two years because of a rise in overseas demand.
